Following extensive damage caused by the 2019 tornado, Dallas ISD undertook a comprehensive restoration and modernization effort at Thomas Jefferson High School. The project preserved the school's original 1950s architectural character while creating a resilient, modern educational environment. Work included restoration of the original structure and historic façade, along with a large new addition integrated into the existing campus.
