John Lewis Social Justice Academy is a transformative Dallas ISD bond-funded project that replaces the former Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School with a state-of-the-art educational campus designed to support leadership, equity, civic engagement, and academic excellence. The new campus honors the legacy of civil rights leader John Lewis while providing students with a modern learning environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.
The project replaces the aging campus with a new approximately 160,000-square-foot facility featuring advanced academic spaces, fine arts programs, athletic facilities, and community-focused amenities designed to serve future generations of students in South Dallas.
