Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager roles is to oversee reporting the organization’s financials of various 3i companies, accurately, create systems and processes for analyzing, writing, and abiding by legal requirements and recommending improvements to business procedures. This person takes ownership of their role and assures adherence to financial processes established by the company. The Accounting Managers' responsibilities include but are not limited to Software Implementation, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Job Costs, Cash Flow, Preparing and delivering Monthly Financial Statements, Analysis and Month end Reconciliations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting.
- Monthly and Annual Budget and Forecasting Preparation.
- Accounting Operations Management.
- Team Leadership.
- Financial Analysis.
- Internal Controls.
- Accounting Compliance and MWBE Reporting.
- Aduit Management.
- System Implementation and Reconciliation.
- Accounts Receivable records of all billing upon submittal.
- Accounts Payable process through invoices, entering costs, and supervise payment process with vendors and subcontractors confirming lien waivers and properly collected.
- Payroll Processing and Job Allocation.
- Monitor G & A cost and seek cost saving.
- Analysis of Budget and Cash Flow Projections.
- Track, Maintain and Report Intercompany Transactions.
- Attend monthly project meetings and construction to review financials of projects.
- Reconcile job cost to general ledger.
- Preparation of monthly WIP.
- Oversee Procore cost tie with Sage.
- Oversee subcontract, Purchase Order and Change Order administration.
- Prepare Monthly Financial Statements, Financial Analysis and Month end reconciliations.
Technical Skills Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Presentation Skills
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant Construction Accounting experience
- 10+ years in Accounting and Finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven experience in managing accounting teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
